Spring Break at Sun Peaks: The Perfect Family Vacation at Pinetree Chalet

Plan your Spring Break family vacation in Sun Peaks this year.  With exceptional late-season snow, fewer crowds, and longer lift hours, Sun Peaks offers a mountain getaway that works for every member of the family. And staying at Pinetree Chalet, our spacious ski-in home on Tod Mountain, makes the trip even more memorable.

Why Sun Peaks is Ideal for Family Spring Breaks

Sun Peaks is an ideal choice for families looking for their Spring Break vacation. Thanks to its high altitude, especially in the new West Bowl area, the resort has great spring skiing conditions while enjoying no line-ups. Longer days and extended lift hours give families more time on the slopes, making it easier to fit in extra runs or explore new terrain.

Sun Peaks offers runs for all skiing abilities, including green runs for beginners — and toddlers love the magic carpet lifts. Even the youngest family members can join in the fun, while teens and adults tackle more challenging trails.

Ski-In Convenience and Family Spaces at Pinetree Chalet

Pinetree Chalet is located at the base of Tod Mountain in a true ski-in location, so on your final run of the day, as you feel the brisk mountain air on your cheeks, you can start looking forward to sliding straight to the open-air hot tub.  Soak your muscles while you watch the setting sun glow on the peaks. It’ will make your last run even more memorable.

The chalet also offers flexible bedroom spaces, perfect for multiple families or intergenerational trips. The layout gives everyone their own room to spread out while still keeping the group together for meals, games, and shared activities. Whether it’s playing in the snow, tackling puzzles, or sharing stories about the day’s adventures, the chalet makes it easy for families to enjoy a true getaway... together yet without ever feeling crowded..
