rental policies

We ask occupants to observe our rental policies when staying at Pinetree Chalet:

• Please treat our family vacation home and contents with respect while you enjoy your stay.

• No noise from 10pm - 7am.  Guests are expected to uphold the peaceful nature of the area at all times.

• No parties; no stags, bachelorettes or "entertainers"; no drugs, smoking, cannabis, vaping.

• Our home is family-focused.  If you feel your singles group or team should be an exception, let's discuss further.

• Responsible consumption of alcohol only (you get the idea.... come here to enjoy yourself, NOT to party).

• Age 28+ to rent;  a responsible adult must be on-site whenever children are present and uphold house rules.

• The person renting should be staying in the home. No third-party bookings.

• Check-in time is after 4pm; check-out time is 10am. For back-to-back rentals an extension may not be possible.

• All overnight guests and daytime visitors must be registered and paid.  Drop-ins not permitted.

• Private parking provided on site for a limited number of vehicles, based on the number of rooms booked.  Street parking is seasonal, paid parking available in village lots for a fee  Ask about parking regulations.

• Pets may be permitted on a case-by-case basis - please inquire.  Pet fee applies when approved.

• Cancellations will get a full refund within 24 hours of booking.  After that, a full refund will be given on fully-paid nights that another group re-books.

• A damage deposit by cheque, cash or credit card is required prior to arrival  Guests must agree to cover any additional expense/cleaning/damage/fine incurred with their rental. Payment processing fees may be charged for some payment methods, and may not be refundable.. You may also secure by credit card.

• All items provided for your stay are to remain on the property.

• The garage, utility room and storage areas are not accessible to guests.  When booking the main house plus suite, access is via a covered outdoor staircase.  No indoor access.

• Outdoor security cameras on site to monitor occupancy and noise; .none are indoors where privacy is expected.

• Our free wifi is for personal use, emails, social media and web surfing - streaming is not supported.

• Pinetree Chalet owners will not be held responsible for disruption of plans, damage, accidents or death.  Please arrange for your own insurance prior to your stay.

Guests are required to sign our Rental Policies.  Please note you've read and agree to the this when you book your stay.
