Forty five beautiful minutes from Kamloops, BC you arrive at Pinetree Chalet, your home base in Sun Peaks - positioned perfectly at the base of Tod Mountain and an easy 5-10 minute stroll to Sun Peaks Village.
It is impossible to overstate the awe-inspiring memories you will make in Pinetree Chalet's open-air jetted hot tub! It will be a highlight of your stay as you star gaze at night, and admire the stunning views and wondrous nature surrounding you by day. Watch skiers glide by, or enjoy the melodic sounds of the creek as you luxuriate and rejuvenate after an activity-filled day.
Adventure awaits! Creation and year-round recreation are at your doorstep. The arrival of spring brings on a new life and climate of its own - lush greenery emerges along with a creek which invites you to explore Tod Mountain trails and meadows. In winter, a private ski run brings you right back to the entrance to Pinetree Chalet. Nearby you'll find BC's highest alpine golf course; lakes for swimming, boating and fishing; mountain biking; horseback riding; hiking trails; go-karts; alpine skiing and snowshoeing, plus year-round resort events (and much more!).

Throughout Sun Peaks there are full-time resident neighbours. Please respect their enjoyment and right to a peaceful neighbourhood. No parties are permitted, and all guests should to observe quiet time from 10pm to 8am.
When you stay at Pinetree Chalet you can expect an authentic Sun Peaks experience in up to 4000sf of spacious and well-appointed accommodation. Throughout the chalet you will find home comforts, curated wall art, handmade accessories, cozy heated floors and thoughtful extras to make your stay memorable with a desire to return.
Great Room: Soaring windows showcase awe-inspiring, spectacular mountain views from all areas of the Great Room. Though you're settled inside, you'll feel like you're still immersed in nature as you watch wildlife, skiers, ever-changing skies and floating snow crystals. Groups will immediately feel "right at home" with ample mingling space and plenty of comfy seating as you gather around the cozy fireplace.
Extended family reunions will appreciate the 2 living rooms where the kids are entertained in one, and the adults can congregate in their own. Each has its' own smart HDTV and sound system, plush "pebble" wool area rugs and rich leather sofas. Corporate retreats may request a configuration ideal for large group discussions.
Feeling hungry? Cook up some hearty home-cooked meals in your large, well-equipped wood-crafted kitchen. We've tried to think of everything... from a Cuisinart stand mixer, to a double waffle maker and slow cooker. You'll find plenty of pots n' pans as well as a wide variety of cooking utensils. The kitchen bar seats 4 helpers.
Then call the WHOLE family in for dinner at the grand dining table - with that majestic view as your backdrop! Of course, the table doubles beautifully as an ideal spot to make a puzzle (several to choose from); or challenge the group to a card game. The dining room also has a beverage area with a second full fridge - perfect for storing beverages while providing the cooks with an interruption-free kitchen.
You'd rather go out to eat? Sun Peaks village has a wide variety of restaurants - from sushi to steak. While you're there, take a look at the gift shops too... or pamper yourself with a spa treatment. Even on a full tummy it's an easy (and lovely) 5-10 minute walk back along gently sloping trails.
When it's time to settle in for the night... convenient and flexible sleeping options are available to accommodate your group in comfort. Inviting, rich warm colours will lull you to sleep. Each room is accessorized with thoughtful extras to place your towel, robe or whatever you're looking to hang.
All beds have thick New Zealand wool pads that regulate your body temperature as you sleep - warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We also provide soft and thick organic or premium cotton sheets, lodge quilts and cuddly blankets for each bed. Queen beds additionally have plush featherbed or memory foam toppers for a restorative sleep. You'll dream of climbing back into bed all day.

Our largest rooms with 2x twin over double bunks in each room. Each has its' own washroom nearby. Bristlecone. The Sugar Pine Suite has another queen bedroom with spacious closet. Reserve your getaway: Choose the 4-bedroom/4 washroom Main House for up to 8 adults. Reserve all 6 bedrooms if you have up to 12 adults, including our Sugar Pine Suite which is nicely appointed with a second full kitchen, dining and living rooms; it is on a separate floor with a private entrance accessed via outdoor covered stairs.
The Sugar Pine Suite may be booked separately when the Main House is rented with 4 bedrooms. (Please see "Rooms" for information on the the Sugar Pine Suite).
