You bet! The house is great for families. Our yard is surrounded by trees. Floor mats are perfect for young children that might "roll" at night. We will also stock the movie library with kids and family movies for you to enjoy. We require that parents partner with us in ensuring our home, yard and contents are cared for. A responsible adult must be on site when children are present.

We may consider dogs, upon request - please specify the details of your pet. Once approved, they must not be left alone on the premises, they may not enter any bedrooms (due to potential allergies), and must stay off all furniture and wood floors. Our foyer can hold pet crates. We have a dog-friendly yard (please clean up all messes). Owners must agree to take full responsibility for any costs related to additional cleaning or damage. Approved pets will incur an additional charge.
What happens if I see a bear?
It is not unusual to see bears in Whistler. Do not attempt to pet or feed them. Never leave food or garbage outdoors. Keep your distance, when possible, and let them know of your presence by talking loudly in a calm voice, banging pots or whatever loud noises you can make. Do not turn your back to the bear but do not make direct eye contact, and make yourself look as large as possible - put young children on your shoulders, and wave your arms. Carefully walk backwards away from the bear, talking loudly, so he knows you are not a threat. Do not challenge the bear, nor back off if it charges you - it is a sign of weakness - stand your ground.
Should I bring firewood?
Our fireplace is propane fueled. Outdoor fires now require a permit, and are banned from June to the end of September, so firewood will not be necessary.
